Michael Johnson

Pastor of Rantoul Community Church

Michael grew up in the suburbs of Chicago before spending over a decade living in Champaign-Urbana, where he worked in the restaurant industry. After coming to know Jesus in his early 30’s, Michael met Chasity, who was working for a college ministry in DeKalb, Illinois. After getting married in 2013, they felt God leading them towards church planting. Michael spent five years serving Christ Community Church C-U as a pastoral resident. Then in 2018, their family felt called to Rantoul. They planted Rantoul Community Church in October of 2020, where Michael serves as a pastor.
